11/06/09: Wind Power
We're excited to announce that we now buy 100% wind power! This means that an equivalent amount of energy that we use at our bakery is added to the electrical grid from 100% wind sources. By making this change, we are eliminating about 1,100,000 lbs of CO2 emissions every year in the NW.
We would also like to take this chance to encourage you (if you have not already) to take a look at switching your home electricity to wind power. According to PGE, the cost to switch to renewable power is only $9 per month for the average residence. Join us and more than 71,000 other PGE customers in helping to preserve our planet for generations to come!
For more information about sustainable power, visit www.greenpoweroregon.com or contact your local power provider.

Sandi Serling, from the upcoming TV show "Curves Ahead" recently spent some time with Dave, gathering footage for the show.
Check out the "Sizzle Reel" on YouTube.
"Curves Ahead with Sandi Serling is a show that will take you to an America you have never seen before. You’ll view it through the eyes of Sandi Serling, a charismatic woman who rides a big road bike in search of the offbeat...the curious...the unconventional. She’s a wife, a mother and businesswoman, but when she dons her leather chaps, she’s a biker, ready for adventure on the open road. For her, it's all about freedom and expecting the unexpected—a hypnotic release from an over- scheduled life."
