DKB at Bumbershoot!
Dave's Killer Bread will be having a great time at Bumbershoot in Seattle! This three-day music and arts festival is probably the biggest in the northwest, and takes place over Labor Day weekend (Sept. 4th,5th, and 6th) at Seattle Center. We have announced 6 winners in our Facebook contest who each won 2 tickets for a single day at the event. Keep an eye out on our Facebook page and make sure to stop by the booth as we are going to continue running contests during the event! You could be one of the first to win one of our new Sin Dawg t-shirts! You will need to stay tuned on Facebook because that is where the contests will be posted!
Costco Roadshows: Oregon
Our Costco Roadshow crews are both back in Oregon this weekend, at the Bend, OR, and Hillsboro, OR Costco locations! Those of you who have been waiting all year for us to bring the Roadshows back to Oregon, the time has come! ShareDave on New Day Northwest
Dave has been asked to make another appearance on King 5's New Day Northwest show up in Seattle to talk about the three new breads that are available! He will go on the show with our master chef, Genevieve, who will be showcasing a few of her recipes on the new breads. 3 New DKB Varieties
The Robust Raisin, Good Seed Killer Light, and 21 Whole Grains Killer Light are available at most Fred Meyers as of today, Monday the 23rd. They are also available at many other stores, including but not limited to: First Alternative Co-Op in Corvallis and Cappella, Kiva, and Red Barn in Eugene. They will be available tomorrow, Tuesday the 24th, in many more Fred Meyers and other independent stores such as Limbo Living Markets and Sheridan Fruit Co. Deli, as well as Harvest Fresh. Check back here and on our Facebook and Twitter pages for updates on the status of the roll-out of these new breads!

DKB at Bumbershoot!
This will be Dave's Killer Bread's first year at Bumbershoot in Seattle! Portland Women's Crisis Line Benefit
This Saturday, August 21st, come down to the block of SE 11th and Harrison for a street festival benefitting the Portland Women's Crisis Line. There will be 7 bands performing, including our very own Michael Manning, as well as a dunk tank, a raffle, and plenty of food and drink to go around! The Portland Women's Crisis Line was one of the first five domestic & sexual violence hotlines in the United States when they were founded in 1972, and they answer over 26,000 calls per year. Three new DKB varieties are on the way!
Our three new varieties are already stirring up quite a buzz on our Facebook page. They will be released in many stores August 23 and are available now at the Healthy Bread Store and Portland and Beaverton Farmers Markets. Three new DKB varieties are on the way!
Look for the release of three new Dave's Killer Bread products in the next few weeks! Our new Good Seed Killer Light, 21 Whole Grains Killer Light, and Robust Raisin breads will be hitting shelves August 23rd. These breads have been available for a while only through our farmers market booths and at the Healthy Bread Store, but now we've got some shiny new packaging for them and they are ready to roll out with the rest of the lineup! Willamette Valley Blues n' Brews Fest
The 2010 Willamette Valley Blues and Brews Festival, sponsored by Springfield/Eugene Habitat for Humanity, will be held at Island Park in Springfield Oregon. The event takes place on Friday from 4-10:30pm, and on Saturday from 10:30am - 10:30pm, and they are charging an $8.00 admission fee and asking that attendees bring 3 non-perishable food items to donate as well. Come rock out to over 130 of the northwest's premiere blues musicians while enjoying the signature crafts of local and regional breweries, wineries, and food vendors, and of course come by the Dave's Killer Bread booth for bread samples and freebies! DKB adds another Cali Winco

Safeway Update!
For all of you Safeway shoppers, Sin Dawgs, Peace Bombs, and Blues Buns are now available in all Safeway locations that currently sell our bread! That means 21 Safeway locations in the Portland area are now carrying the full line of DKB products. For a location near you, check out our store locator. Bite of Seattle
Coming up this weekend, July 16-18th, is the Northwest's premier food festival, the 29th annual Comcast Bite of Seattle. Restaurants, wineries, and breweries from all over the Northwest converge on Seattle Center for a weekend filled with samples, contests, giveaways, and fun events! Look for the Dave's Killer Bread booth, where you will be able to sample and purchase all varieties of DKB as well as score some free swag (like new killer tote bags and coloring books) and meet Dave himself! Seattle to Portland!
We are excited to be the Official Bread of the 2010 Group Health STP on July 17th and 18th! This 200-mile bicycle ride is the largest multi-day bicycle event in the Northwest, with up to 10,000 participants riding from Seattle to Portland in one or two days. The route takes you through the scenic valleys, forests, and farmlands of Western Washington and Oregon. Come join what Bicycling Magazine has listed as one of the best cycling events in the nation! And if you can't make the ride, make sure to drop by the Finish Line Festival at Holladay Park in northeast Portland. This year's festival will feature music, food and beverage service, exhibitor and sponsor booths, massage tent, showers, first aid, and most importantly, free samples of Dave's Killer Bread!

Cycle Oregon Weekend Event
Dave's Killer Bread will be the official bread sponsor of the Cycle Oregon Weekend Event. The event takes place this Friday through Sunday, July 16th-18th, and this year they are back with the same great setting, accomodations, and hospitality as last year but with new routes! They are setting up base at Western Oregon University in Monmouth, OR and will have 10 different routes to choose from, with rolling hills, covered bridges, and even ferry crossing!
