cheeseburger pickle sliders

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 package Dave’s Killer Bread Rock ‘N’ Rolls®

  • 1 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil

  • ½ small white onion, diced

  • 1 ½ pounds ground beef

  • 1 ½ Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tsp. garlic powder

  • ½ tsp. ground mustard powder

  • ½ tsp. sea salt

  • ½ tsp. black pepper

  • 3 Tbsp. mayonnaise

  • 1 Tbsp ketchup

  • 6 slices cheddar cheese

  • ¼ cup pickle chips

  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 2 Tbsp. butter, melted

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F and spray a 9x13 baking sheet with avocado oil. Set aside.

  2. Add olive oil to a medium skillet over medium-high heat. Add diced onions and sauté for 3-5 minutes, or until soft. Set aside.

  3. In a small bowl, mix together ketchup and mayonnaise, set aside.

  4. In a large bowl mix together ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, mustard powder, sea salt, black pepper, and sautéed onions. Mix well to combine.

  5. Spread ground beef mixture onto greased baking sheet. Bake for 15-17 minutes, or until the hamburger is cooked to medium.

  6. While hamburger cooks, prepare buns. Cut slider buns in half using a serrated knife. Place bottom half of buns onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet.

  7. Top bottom halves of sliders with slices of cheddar cheese.

  8. Once burger meat is cooked, gently use two spatulas to transfer to bottom slider buns on top of cheese.

  9. Add pickle slices and shredded cheddar cheese to sliders.

  10. Spread ketchup and mayo mixture on the underside of the tops of slider buns. Place slider tops on top. Brush with melted butter.

  11.  Bake sliders for 13-15 minutes, or until tops are golden and cheese is melted.

  12.  Remove from oven and enjoy immediately.
