SHEET PAN turkey pesto sliders

INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 Dave’s Killer Bread 21 Whole Grains and Seeds Burger Buns

  • 1 teaspoon olive oil spray, to grease pan

  • ½ cup pesto

  • 1 ¼ cup thick cut mozzarella shreds, divided

  • ¼ pound peppered sliced turkey

  • 4 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped, divided

  • ½ cup dill pickle crunchy chips (such as Tim’s or Kettle)

  • 3 tablespoons melted butter

 

DIRECTIONS:

1. Preheat oven to 350F.

2. Spray an 8x8 baking dish with olive oil spray.

3. Add bottom of 21 Whole Grains and Seeds buns to greased baking dish.

4. Spread each bun with pesto and top with ¼ cup of mozzarella cheese. Add sliced turkey, chips, remaining mozzarella, and a sprinkle of 2 tablespoons fresh parsley. Add top bun layer and spoon melted butter on top. Sprinkle with remaining fresh parsley.

5. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until cheese is melty and buns are golden.
