ultimate brunch salmon sliders with creamy herb spread

Serves 4

 

INGREDIENTS:

1⁄2 cup sour cream

1⁄2 cup cream cheese, softened

2-3 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped

2 tablespoons fresh chive, chopped

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon lemon zest

1 teaspoon garlic, minced or grated

1 teaspoon rice vinegar

1⁄4 teaspoon kosher salt (more to taste)

1⁄8 teaspoon ground black pepper

2 Dave’s Killer Bread 21 Whole Grains and Seeds Burger Buns

1 tablespoon butter, softened

8 thin slices tomato

4 thin slices red onion

4 oz smoked salmon

1 avocado, thinly sliced

4 poached eggs

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

 1. Combine sour cream, cream cheese, dill, chives, parsley, lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic, rice vinegar, salt and pepper in a small bowl

2. Stir and taste. Adjust any herbs, salt or lemon – as desired

3. Lightly toast the Dave’s Killer Bread 21 Whole Grains and Seeds Burger Buns. Spread butter on each halve and top with a generous amount of the creamy herb spread

4. Top with tomato, onion, salmon, avocado and poached egg

5. Top with fresh cracked pepper, salt and additional herbs

6. Serve and enjoy!
